NFL: New Orleans 19, Cleveland 14

CLEVELAND, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- John Carney kicked four field goals Sunday afternoon to help New Orleans beat the Cleveland Browns, 19-14.

Drew Brees was 17-of-31 passing for 176 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Duce McAllister rushed for 90 yards on 22 carries, Saints' No. 1 draft pick Reggie Bush had 61 yards on 14 carries and caught eight passes for 58 yards, and Marques Colston had four receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown for the Saints (1-0).

Josh Bullocks made a key interception late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Charlie Frye was 16-of-27 for 132 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, and rushed for 44 yards on six carries. Kellen Winslow Jr. had 63 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions, and Reuben Droughns was limited to 27 yards on 11 carries for the Browns (0-1).
