MLB: N.Y. Yankees 9, Baltimore 4

BALTIMORE, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Derek Jeter had two hits and four RBI Sunday afternoon to lead the New York Yankees past Baltimore, 9-4.

He hit a two-run homer in the top of the third inning, an RBI groundout in the fourth, and a sacrifice fly in the sixth -- and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.

Nick Green hit a solo home run; Sal Fasano had a run, two hits and three RBI; and Bobby Abreu hit an RBI single for the Yankees (85-56), who have won three of their last four games.

Winner Jaret Wright (10-7) allowed three runs and three hits in 6 1/3 innings with two walks and two strikeouts.

Ramon Hernandez had three hits, including two homers, and knocked in all four runs for the Orioles (62-80), who have dropped six of their last seven games.

Losing pitcher Hayden Penn (0-2) was pounded for seven runs and nine hits in three innings.
