MLB: LA Angels 4, Toronto 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Mike Napoli homered and rookie right-hander Jered Weaver won his 11th game Sunday afternoon as the LA Angels beat the Blue Jays, 4-3.

Chone Figgins had three hits and one RBI, and Orlando Cabrera had three hits for the Angels, who have won seven of their last eight.

Weaver (11-2) allowed three runs on six hits with three walks and eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings.

Francisco Rodriguez earned his major league-leading 41st save with a perfect ninth.

Adam Lind got his first major league homer, and Aaron Hill had three hits and one RBI for the Blue Jays, who have lost three of five.

Toronto starter Roy Halladay left the game after being hit in his pitching shoulder by a line drive off the bat of Garret Anderson.

Josh Towers (1-10) took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits with one walk and no strikeouts over 1 2/3 innings.
