COL FB: Nebraska 49, Louisiana Tech 10

LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Zac Taylor completed 22-of-34 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns Saturday as 22nd-ranked Nebraska posted a 49-10 victory over Louisiana Tech.

Nebraska (1-0) out-gained the Bulldogs in total yards, 599-327 and recorded 30 first downs to Louisiana Tech's 13.

Nebraska extended the nation's longest winning streak in season openers to 21 games.

Nebraska gained 252 yards on the ground. The trio of Marlon Lucky, Cody Glenn and Brandon Jackson rushed for a combined 203 yards and three touchdowns.

Zac Champion was 12-of-27 for 231 yards with a TD and an interception, and Johnathan Holland caught seven passes for 139 yards and a score for the outmanned Bulldogs.
