AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Deanna Nolan and Katie Smith combined for 37 points Friday night as Detroit beat Connecticut, 73-63, in Game Two of the WNBA Finals.
With the victory, the Shock evened up the best-of-three series at a game apiece.
Nolan had 21 points, three rebounds and four assists. Smith had 16 points and three assists, and Swin Cash had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Shock, who will be the home team in Sunday's rubber game at Auburn Hills, Mich.
Yolanda Griffith had 14 points and eight rebounds, while Kristin Haynie and Kara Lawson each scored 11 points for the Sun, who blew a 42-33 halftime advantage.
