MLS: Kansas City 2, New York 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Josh Wolff scored in the 71st minute Wednesday night, giving Kansas City a 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls.

Scott Sealy scored the other goal in the 28th minute for the Wizards (8-12-6), who held on to third place in the Eastern Conference, one point ahead of the Red Bulls, 31-30.

John Wolyniec and Todd Dunivant scored for the Red Bulls (6-7-11).

Neither team could generate a quality scoring chance in the game's closing minutes.

Kansas City trails first place D.C. United by 17 points; and New York has an 18-point deficit.
