ST. LOUIS, Fla., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Preston Wilson had one run, two hits and three RBI Wednesday night as St. Louis topped Florida, 13-6.
Juan Encarnacion had a run, three hits, and two RBI; Albert Pujols had two runs, two hits, including a solo home run, and two RBI; Scott Rolen had three runs, three hits, and one RBI; Aaron Miles had two runs, two hits, and one RBI; starter and winner Jason Marquis had two hits and one RBI; and Ronny Belliard had a run and two hits for the Cardinals (70-61), who have won two of their last three games.
In five innings, Marquis (14-12) gave up five runs and seven hits.
Mike Jacobs hit a two-run single; Wes Helms, Miguel Cabrera, Dan Uggla, and Jeremy Hermida all had one RBI; while Hanley Ramirez had two runs and three hits for the Marlins (65-67), who had a nine-game winning streak broken.
The loser was Ricky Nolasco (11-9).
