MLB: Milwaukee 12, Colorado 6

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder and Bill Hall homered Thursday afternoon as the Milwaukee Brewers clobbered Colorado, 12-6, finishing a three-game sweep.

Hall hit a solo homer in the second inning. Fielder hit a three-run blast in the seventh.

Hall finished with two runs and two hits. Greg Gross had two hits and two RBI; starter and winner Tomo Ohka had two hits and three RBI; Geoff Jenkins scored three runs; while David Bell had two runs, two hits and one RBI for the Brewers (62-65), who have seven wins in their last 10 games.

In 5 1/3 innings, Ohka (4-3) gave up seven hits and six runs.

Brad Hawpe hit a three-run homer, and Todd Helton hit a two-run shot and had two hits for the Rockies (59-68), who suffered their sixth straight loss.

Losing pitcher Josh Fogg (9-8) surrendered eight hits and eight runs in 4 2/3 innings.
