MLB: Cleveland 9, Tampa Bay 4

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta hit his first grand slam home run Sunday afternoon to help Cleveland beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 9-4.

Travis Hafner and Ryan Garko hit solo homers; Kelly Shoppach had three hits and two RBI; and Garko had three runs, two hits and two RBI for the Indians (56-67), who have won three of their last four games.

Winner Jake Westbrook (10-8) surrendered three runs and eight hits in seven innings with two walks and four strikeouts.

Russell Branyan hit a solo home run; Carl Crawford had three hits and two RBI; Ben Zobrist drove in a run; Rocco Baldelli had two runs and three hits; and Crawford stole his 43rd base of the season for the Devil Rays (49-75), who have three losses in their last four games.

In relief, the losing pitcher was Chad Orvella (1-5).
