Rain again was a factor Sunday when the match started later than anticipated and forced the final to be pushed back to Monday.

Ivanovic will be making her first appearance in a final, while seventh-seeded Martina Hingis of Switzerland will try to capture her 42nd career singles title.

Hingis advanced to the final before the rains came Saturday.

She had a 6-3, 3-1, lead over Anna Chakvetadze of Russia when her opponent was forced to retire with an injured right forearm.
