JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Jake Delhomme completed 10-of-18 passes for 129 yards Saturday to lead the Carolina Panthers to a 17-10 exhibition win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Alex Haynes rushed for 30 yards on four carries for the Panthers. Keary Colbert caught a pair of passes for 45 yards, Keyshawn Johnson had three catches for 38 yards and Drew Carter had three for 35 yards.
Carolina All-Pro receiver Steve Smith did not play after missing 17 days of training camp with a strained left hamstring.
David Garrard completed 7-of-11 passes for 86 yards and committed three fumbles and two interceptions, while Quinn Gray completed 10-of-19 passes for 82 yards and one touchdown for the Jaguars.
LaBrandon Toefield rushed for 21 yards on six carries, while Reggie Williams caught three passes for 54 yards for the Jaguars.
