Robinson was allegedly driving more than 100 mph Tuesday night when St. Peter police tried to pull him over. He was apprehended about 13 miles later in Mankato, where the Vikings hold their training camp, the newspaper said.

Vikings coach Brad Childress said his kick returner who also caught 22 passes for 347 yards and a touchdown last season, would "be subject to the laws of this state and whatever the NFL deems fit."

The NFL had no immediate comment on the arrest.

Robinson received a four-game suspension in 2004 for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy while with the Seattle Seahawks.
