CHICAGO, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Mark Teahen hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning Tuesday as the Kansas City Royals posted a 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Emil Brown had two hits with a homer and Mark Grudzielanek had two hits and scored a run for the Royals, who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Runelvys Hernandez (3-7) earned the win after giving up two runs on eight hits with three walks and five strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings.
Tadahito Iguchi had two hits and drove in a run and Scott Podsednik had a hit and an RBI for the White Sox, who had a five-game winning streak halted.
Javier Vazquez (11-7) took the loss after allowing four runs on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings.
