MLB: Atlanta 7, Milwaukee 4

ATLANTA, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Brian McCann had two hits and four RBI Sunday afternoon as Atlanta beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-4.

McCann hit a two-run single in the third inning and a two-run homer in the seventh, which capped the scoring.

Jeff Francoeur hit a solo homer; Matt Diaz had a run and four hits; and Andruw Jones drove in a run for the Braves (54-62), who have won three of their last five games.

The winning pitcher was reliever Chad Paronto (1-0). Bob Wickman recorded his seventh save since coming to Atlanta last month in a trade with Cleveland.

Tony Graffanino had two hits and two RBI; while Greg Gross and Mike Rivera both drove in a run for the Brewers (55-62), who have split their last six games.

In relief, the loser was Matt Wise (5-6), who gave up three runs and three hits in 2/3 of an inning.
