Gunning for career win No. 2, Stanford will be paired with defending champion Meena Lee, who fired the low round of the day, a 6-under 66, to move into second place at 9-under 207.

The only other time Stanford has led after 54 holes was at the Franklin American Mortgage Championship in April, where she tied for second behind Cristie Kerr.

Her only career victory came three years ago when she went wire-to-wire at the 2003 ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Jee Young Lee had a 71 Saturday and is alone in third at 208.
