HOUSTON, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Roger Clemens gave up one run and four hits in six innings for his 345th career win Thursday night, as Houston beat Pittsburgh, 5-2, for a three-game sweep.
Morgan Ensberg hit a three-run homer and scored on an RBI single by Brad Ausmus in the bottom of the first; and Ausmus, who had three hits, added an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth for the Astros (56-58), who have won seven of their last nine games.
Clemens (4-4) had two walks and five strikeouts.
Freddy Sanchez hit a sacrifice fly; Nate McLouth hit an RBI groundout; Xavier Nady had a run and two hits; and Jack Wilson also had two hits for the Pirates (42-73), who have lost five games in a row.
Losing pitcher Tom Gorzelanny (2-3) surrendered two runs and five hits in six innings with five walks and six strikeouts.
