ZANDVOORT, Netherlands, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen has a one-shot lead in the clubhouse in the second round of the European Tour's KLM Open Golf Tournament at Zandvoort, Netherlands.

He is at 6-under 136 after a second straight 5-under 68 on Friday.

"It was hard work out there battling the elements, but I quite enjoy playing in the wind so I tried to look at the positive side of it," Kjeldsen said. "This place, with the beach and everything, it also feels very much like where I am from in Denmark so it feels very much at home to me."

Anders Hansen (72), also from Denmark, and Ireland's Damien McGrane (68) are tied for second in the clubhouse at 5-under 137.

Spain's Ignacio Garrido was on the course at 8-under through 11 holes when the round was suspended by darkness after two weather delays Friday that lasted more than four hours.
