HAMBURG, Germany, July 28 (UPI) -- Robert Karlsson of Sweden heads the leader-board after two rounds of the Players Championship of Europe in Hamburg, Germany.
After a 6-under 66 Friday, Karlsson is 14-under 130 through 36 holes, and has a one-stroke lead over Scotland's Gary Orr (64), first-round leader Lee Westwood (68) of England and Ian Woosnam (66) of Wales.
"I am playing well just now," Karlsson said. "In fact, I've played well for a couple of months. I'm enjoying it out there and feeling pretty calm and relaxed and just doing my thing. But the weather is so good here and the course is set up quite friendly. You just have to go out and play."
South Africa's Charl Schwartzel (64) and countryman Retief Goosen (68) are tied for fifth place at 12-under 132, with Ireland's Padraig Harrington (65), Christian L. Nilsson (66) of Sweden and Luke Donald (66) tied for seventh at 11-under 133.
