MLB: NY Yankees 7, Texas 4

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 25 (UPI) -- Aaron Guiel hit his second home run in as many nights Tuesday to lead the New York Yankees to a 7-4 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Guiel's three-run shot gave New York the lead for good in the fifth inning. Miguel Cairo drove in two runs for the Yankees, who have won three of their last four games.

Mike Mussina (12-3), who has won four straight, earned the victory, yielding three runs on five hits in six innings.

Adam Eaton (0-1) made his debut for the Rangers and went 3 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on a hit, four walks and two hit batters for the loss.

Rod Barajas was 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored and Mark Teixeira had a pair of hits and an RBI for the Rangers, who have lost three straight.
