PHOENIX, July 23 (UPI) -- The Colorado Rockies rallied for four runs in the top of the ninth inning Sunday afternoon and beat Arizona, 9-7.
Clint Barmes had three runs, four hits, and two RBI; Garrett Atkins had two hits and three RBI; Luis Gonzalez had a hit and two RBI; while Cory Sullivan had two runs and two hits for the Rockies (46-51), who snapped a three-game losing streak.
A two-run double by Gonzalez was the game-winning hit.
The winning pitcher was reliever Tom Martin (2-0).
Arizona's Luis Gonzalez had three hits and one RBI; Carlos Quentin and Shawn Green hit two-run doubles; while both Chris Snyder and Orlando Hudson had a run and two hits for the Diamondbacks (50-48), who had a four-game winning streak snapped.
The loser was Jorge Julio (1-4).
Arizona lost for only the third time in its last 13 games.
