Massu, Djokovic in Dutch Open final

AMERSFOORT, Netherlands, July 22 (UPI) -- Nicolas Massu of Chile and Novak Djokovic of Serbia will meet in Sunday's final at the clay-court Dutch Open in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.

In Saturday's semifinals, Djokovic, the third seed, beat top-seeded Guillermo Coria of Spain, 6-2, 1-0, when Coria retired because of a right shoulder injury. Massu, the fourth seed, trounced unseeded Ruben Ramirez-Hidalgo of Spain, 6-1, 6-3.

"This was one of the best games in my career," Massu said. "My play was unbelievable. I made it very difficult for Ruben to play his game."

In the title match, Massu and Djokovic will face each other for the first time in their careers.

The winner will receive $55,000.

Massu has won six tournaments, while Djokovic will be gunning for his first career tournament win.
