DEARBORN, Mich., July 15 (UPI) -- Loren Roberts shot an 8-under 64 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead after three rounds of the Senior Players Championship at Dearborn, Mich.
Roberts -- who is going after his fourth senior victory of the season and his second major title in 11 months -- won three straight events to begin his first full season on the Champions Tour. Since then, he has had eight straight top-10 finishes without a victory.

He began the third round tied for 15th place after the second round -- suspended due to inclement weather on Friday -- was completed Saturday morning.
He stands at 14-under 202, two strokes ahead of Lonnie Nielsen, who shot a 6-under 66 in the third round to reach 12-under 204.
