LOS ANGELES, June 22 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles judge has been asked to force authors of a book on baseball and drugs to identify sources.
Federal prosecutors said Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams, two San Francisco Chronicle reporters who wrote a series of articles about performance-enhancing drugs among athletes and the book "Game of Shadows," quoted illegally from grand jury testimony.

The prosecutors said the two writers should be forced to identify the sources who leaked the grand jury information, the San Francisco Chronicle said.
The articles and book were based in part on grand jury testimony by Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi and other major league stars.
