MLB: Seattle 6, L.A. Angels 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., June 12 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez and Jeremy Reed hit home runs Sunday as Seattle topped the Los Angeles Angels, 6-2, to finish a three-game sweep.

In all, Reed had one run, two hits, and one RBI; Jose Lopez had one run and three hits; Ichiro Suzuki had one hit to extend his hitting streak to 12 games; and Adrian Beltre had one hit and knocked in two runs for the Mariners (31-34), who won for the ninth time in their last 11 games.

Winning pitcher Felix Hernandez went the distance on a four-hitter. He had no walks and nine strikeouts.

Seattle has won 11 of its last 14 games against the Angels.

Orlando Cabrera had one run, three hits, and one RBI; while Chone Figgins had one run and the other hit for the Angels (27-35), who have lost three in a row after a brief two-game winning streak.

The loser was Jeff Weaver (3-9).
