MLB: Pittsburgh 6, San Diego 4

PITTSBURGH, June 4 (UPI) -- Ronny Paulino had two hits and drove in three runs Saturday night as Pittsburgh beat San Diego, 6-4.

Jose Castillo had two hits and two runs; winning pitcher Zack Duke had one hit and one RBI; and Jeromy Burnitz had one run, one hit, and one RBI for the Pirates (21-35).

Burnitz extended his hitting streak to six games. Pittsburgh has five wins in its last six games.

Duke (4-6), who retired 13 of the last 14 batters he faced, surrendered three runs and four hits in seven innings.

Mike Gonzalez earned his seventh save.

Khalil Greene had one run, two hits and three RBI; Josh Barfield drove in the other run; Mike Piazza had two hits; and both Mike Cameron and Mark Bellhorn had one run and one hit for the Padres (29-26).

San Diego had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Loser Mike Thompson fell to 2-2.
