GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J., June 3 (UPI) -- Japan's Ai Miyazato had her second straight 5-under 66 Saturday to move into the lead after two rounds of the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
At 10-under 132, Miyazato, 20, leads Women's world No. 1 Annika Sorenstam by two shots. Sorenstam turned in a 2-under 69 and is alone in second place at 9-under 133.
Sherri Steinhauer climbed into a share of third place at 134 with a 66. She is tied with Seon-Hwa Lee and Laura Diaz, who both shot 69.
Morgan Pressel, Amy Hung, Catriona Matthew and Patricia Meunier-Lebouc are one stroke further back at 135.
Miyazato, who was playing one group ahead of Sorenstam, tripped to a bogey on the second after missing a 10-foot par putt. She came right back with a birdie on the par-five third.
Miyazato won the 2005 LPGA Qualifying Tournament by 12 strokes.
