WASHINGTON, June 3 (UPI) -- Jaime Moreno scored the game's lone goal Saturday night as DC United beat the New England Revolution, 1-0.
United, which leads the Eastern Conference, improved its overall record to 7-1-3.

It was Moreno's 101st career tally. It came in the game's 14th minute on an assist by Christian Gomez.
By extending its unbeaten streak to five games, United increased its lead over second place Kansas City to 11 points.
DC doubled the Revolution in shots on goal, 6-3.
New England, in second place in the East, dropped to 3-4-2, and trails United by 11 points in the standings (24-13).
Next Sunday, New England is at home to Chicago and United plays at Los Angeles.
