MLB: Florida 5, San Francisco 3

MIAMI, May 30 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera had a three-run homer and four RBI Tuesday to lead the Florida Marlins to a 5-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants.

Brian Moehler (3-4) threw six innings for the win and also had an RBI single during a four-run outburst in the bottom of the third inning. The right-hander, who moved to 3-0 over his last four starts, allowed six hits and two runs.

Dan Uggla had two hits and scored twice for Florida, which won for the sixth time in eight games.

Joe Borowski allowed a homer in the ninth inning, but picked up his sixth save.

Giants slugger Barry Bonds, who hit career homer 715 on Sunday to pass Babe Ruth for second place on the all-time list, missed Tuesday's game due to a sore back.
