CORNING, N.Y., May 28 (UPI) -- Hee-Won Han was the winner Sunday on the fourth playoff hole at the LPGA's Corning Classic in Corning, N.Y.
Hee-Won, who birdied the final two holes of regulation, shot 4-under 68 Sunday to finish at 15-under 273 -- in a tie with Meena Lee, who had birdies at 16 and 17, and carded a 6-under 66 in the closing round.
"I was pretty nervous out there," admitted Han, who won $180,000. "Meena played with me a couple of times, and she's pretty good. I was just thinking keep it in the fairways and greens in the playoff."
Brandie Burton was third at 14-under 274 after a 2-under 70. Mhairi McKay (68) was fourth at 13-under 275.
Laura Diaz (70) and second-round leader Virada Nirapathpongporn (72) shared fifth place at 12-under 276.
