MLB: Toronto 8, LA Angels 4 (10 innings)

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 19 (UPI) -- Aaron Hill doubled in the first run in a 4-run 10-inning rally that gave the Toronto Blue Jays an 8-4 victory over the LA Angels of Anaheim.

Hill's double to left-center field drove in Lyle Overbay and the Blue Jays got a 2-run single from Russ Adams, who later scored on an error Thursday, to beat usually reliable Angels' reliever Francisco Rodriguez (0-1).

Toronto's Jason Frasor (1-0) was credited with the victory with 1 2/3 innings of hitless relief.

The Blue Jays trailed 3-1 going into the sixth but pulled even with Overbay and Alex Rios contributing back-to-back run-scoring doubles. Toronto briefly grabbed the lead the following inning on Angels fielding mistakes that allowed Reed Johnson to score but the Angels tied the score at 4-4 in the bottom of the inning with a Mike Napoli home run.

Toronto scored the game's first run on a Troy Gaus sacrifice fly in the third inning only to have the Angels put up three runs in the bottom of the inning. Napoli scored the first Angels run on an Adam Kennedy two-out double. Kennedy reached home on a Johnson single and Vladimir Guerrero had a run-scoring single to complete the rally.
