MLB: Milwaukee 8, Philadelphia 7

MILWAUKEE, May 17 (UPI) -- Geoff Jenkins drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday night as Milwaukee edged Philadelphia, 8-7.

In all, Jenkins had two runs, three hits and three RBI; Brady Clark had two hits and two runs; Prince Fielder had one run, one hit, and two RBI; and Rickie Weeks had one run and two hits for the Brewers (21-19), who have won three straight and four of their last five games.

In relief, winner Jose Cappellan rose to 1-0.

Bobby Abreu had two hits, two runs and drove in two runs; Ryan Howard had two hits and two RBI; David Dellucci hit a two-run homer; and Shane Victorino had one run, two hits and one RBI for the Phillies (22-17), who have lost two in a row following a four-game winning streak.

In relief, loser Arthur Rhodes, who gave up the winnning run, dropped to 0-1.
