MLB: Pittsburgh 9, Cincinnati 3

PITTSBURGH, May 16 (UPI) -- Jeromy Burnitz was 3-for-5 with four RBI Tuesday to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 9-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

Jason Bay scored two runs and had two RBI and Jose Bautista added two hits and two runs scored for the Pirates.

Paul Maholm (2-4) got the victory after allowing two runs on five hits in 7 1/3 innings.

David Ross had a two-run homer and Felipe Lopez hit a solo home run for the Reds, who lost their fourth straight game.

Aaron Harang (5-2) suffered his first loss in eight starts after he gave up seven runs -- three earned -- on six hits with three walks and eight strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.
