Bobby Wadkins holds Champions lead

SANDESTIN, Fla., May 13 (UPI) -- Bobby Wadkins played at even-par 71 Saturday, but stayed in the lead after two rounds of the seniors Boeing Championship.

At 9-under 133, Wadkins is three strokes ahead.

Craig Stadler shot a 6-under 65 and is tied for second place with John Harris, who posted a 66. The two are 6-under 136 after 36 holes.

Two-time U.S. Open champion Curtis Strange was closest to Wadkins most of the second round until he suffered a triple-bogey eight on the 17th. He shot 71 and is tied for fourth place at 137 with three-time winner and leading money winner, Loren Roberts (68).

Wadkins established a course record on Friday with a 9-under 62.

Stadler, who has not won on the Champions Tour since 2004, had eight birdies over his first 16 holes Saturday.
