IRVING, Texas, May 12 (UPI) -- Brett Wetterich and Adam Scott are tied for the lead at the halfway point of the Byron Nelson Golf Championship at Irving, Texas.
In Friday's second round, Wetterich shot 6-under 64 and Scott carded his second straight 5-under 65. Overall, the two are 10-under-par 130.
Joe Ogilvie, who shot 8-under 62 on Friday, is tied for third place with Omar Uresti (66) at 7-under 133.
The day's best round, 10-under 60, was shot by Arron Oberholser, who is 6-under 134 overall, tied for fifth with first-round co-leader Steve Lowery (69) and Phil Tataurangi (66).
Among those missing the cut were Sergio Garcia (143), Jeff Maggert (142), Jim Furyk (143) -- who won the Wachovia Championship at Charlotte last weekend -- and Fred Couples (142).
The world's top three ranked players -- Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Retief Goosen -- were not entered this week.
