ST. LOUIS, May 10 (UPI) -- Albert Pujols continued his early-season home run binge Wednesday afternoon as St. Louis beat the Colorado Rockies, 7-4.
Overall, Pujols, whose two-run homer was his 18th of the season, had two hits, two runs and two RBI.
Aaron Miles had three hits, a run and an RBI; and David Eckstein had three hits for the Cardinals (22-13), who have won two straight following a four-game losing streak.
Winning pitcher Jeff Suppan (4-2), who has won his last four starts, gave up three runs and six in five innings hits with no walks a season-high seven strikeouts.
Danny Ardoin, Matt Holliday and Cory Sullivan each had a run, two hits and one RBI; while Brad Hawpe drove in one for the Rockies (20-15).
Colorado has won four times in its last six games.
Loser Byung-Hyun Kim (1-1) surrendered seven runs and 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings.
