DETROIT, May 9 (UPI) -- Rasheed Wallace had 29 points and nine rebounds as the Detroit Pistons posted a 97-91 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game Two of their East semifinal.
Tayshaun Prince added 20 points and Richard Hamilton 17 in the Tuesday victory, as the Pistons took a 2-0 series lead heading to Cleveland for Game Three on Saturday. Hamilton did not score his first field goal until late in the fourth quarter, but the guard made 15-of-18 free throws.
LeBron James scored 30 points, including 23 in the second half, and added 14 rebounds and seven assists for Cleveland.
Drew Gooden had 17 points and eight rebounds. Cleveland outrebounded Detroit, 51-38. Cleveland also made seven more field goals than the Pistons.
