LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) -- Nomar Garciaparra's bottom of the ninth, RBI single put the Dodgers past the Brewers, 4-3, Friday night at Dodger Stadium.
Garciaparra had two hits on the night, as did Rafael Furcal, Jeff Kent and Russell Martin.

For Martin, it was his first ever hit in the majors -- a two-run double.
Los Angeles stopped a five-game skid with the win.
The Brewers have lost three of their last four, despite Carlos Lee's home run and two hits apiece for Prince Fielder and Damian Miller.
