MLB: Texas 7, Tampa Bay 5

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 2 (UPI) -- Mark DeRosa went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI Tuesday as the Texas Rangers posted a 7-5 victory over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Robinson Tejada (1-0) made his first start of the season in a debut for Texas after being recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma on Tuesday. He went five innings and allowed two runs on three hits with six walks and no strikeouts.

Kevin Mench and Brad Wilkerson homered for Texas, which has won four straight.

Tampa Bay starter Mark Hendrickson (1-2) pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up six runs on seven hits, three of which were home runs.

Toby Hall and Ty Wigginton each had two RBI for the Devil Rays, who have lost three of their last four games.
