MLS: Los Angeles 3, Real Salt Lake 2

SALT LAKE CITY, April 29 (UPI) -- Landon Donovan scored his first goal of the season Saturday as the Los Angeles Galaxy beat Real Salt Lake, 3-2.

Donovan also set up the other two goals by Cobi Jones and Herculez Gomez as Los Angeles captured its second win of the season. RSL, which got goals from Jason Kreis and Atiba Harris, out-shot Los Angeles, 13-12.

Real Salt Lake remained winless after four games.

Kreis, the team captain for RSL and the all-time leader in goals scored in Major League Soccer, received two yellow cards and will have to sit out next Saturday's game against the Columbus Crew, while Los Angeles plays at New England.
