AUSTIN, Texas, April 29 (UPI) -- Bruce Fleisher shot a 3-under 69 Saturday to take the lead at 7-under 137, after two rounds of the Champions Kinko's Classic in Austin, Texas.
Craig Stadler and David Edwards, who both shared the first-round lead with Fleisher and three others, both shot 70 in round two. They share second place at 138.
Des Smyth (69) had a double bogey on the final hole Saturday to wind up at 5-under 139, tied with another first-round co-leader, Tom Kite (71), for fourth.
Jay Haas, one of the six first-round co-leaders, posted even-par 72 Saturday, and was joined in sixth place by Bob Gilder and Mark James.
Tom Jenkins had a 70 Saturday to get to 141, where he is alone in ninth. Curtis Strange, also a first-round leader, shot a 74 to share 10th with defending champion Jim Thorpe (70) at 142.
