Infamous boxing bout now on Internet

LONDON, April 25 (UPI) -- An infamous 1991 middleweight fight in London, which has not been available to the public for 15 years, is available as an Internet download.

During the match, boxer Michael Watson went into a coma for about a month after being beaten by Chris Eubank, reports Sky News.

After coming out of the coma, Watson was unable to walk without help for about a decade. ITV, which originally broadcast the fight, later decided the footage was not suitable to be shown again.

But Eubank has now decided to make the fight available on his new pay-per-view Web site as he retains non-exclusive rights for all the bouts in his career, the report said.

Eubank said he has Watson's support for the pay-per-view venture.
