NBA: Cleveland 97, Washington 86

CLEVELAND, April 22 (UPI) -- LeBron James dominated his first NBA playoff game Saturday, leading Cleveland past Washington, 97-86, in the opener of their Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

James had 32 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the Cavaliers, who are in the playoffs for the first time since 1998. Donyell Marshall added 19 points off the bench for Cleveland while Eric Snow had 14 points in the win.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Flip Murray each scored 10 points for the Cavaliers.

Gilbert Arenas scored 26 points and had six rebounds for the Wizards but was just 7-of-20 from the floor. Jared Jeffries added 15 points and Antonio Daniels had 14 for Washington, which is making its second straight playoff appearance.
