NBA: Phoenix 106, Portland 96

, April 20 (UPI) -- Shawn Marion had 32 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday night as Phoenix dumped the Portland Trailblazers, 106-96.

Steve Nash had a triple-double with 16 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds; Tim Thomas had 12 points and six rebounds; and James Jones added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns (54-28), who won their final two games to finish the regular season.

Jarrett Jack had 18 points, four rebounds and four assists; and Martell Webster had 17 points and four rebounds for the dismal Trail Blazers (21-61), who closed the season with an eight-game losing streak.

Phoenix won the Pacific Division for a second straight year and will be the second seed in the Western Conference playoffs. The Suns will have the home-court advantage in the best-of-seven first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers after the Lakers beat the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, 115-95. The Lakers are the seventh seed.
