NBA: Sacramento 111, Seattle 105

SACRAMENTO, April 19 (UPI) -- Kenny Thomas scored 17 points and had 18 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings ended their regular season with a 111-105 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics.

The Kings, 44-38, advance to the playoffs but their first-round opponent won't be determined until the after the Los Angeles Lakers' game Wednesday. Seattle is 34-47 with one game to play.

Bonzi Wells hit a pair of free throws with 4:03 left Tuesday to break a 101-101 tie and put the Kings ahead for good. But it wasn't until Thomas stole the ball and jammed to complete a breakaway for a 108-102 lead with 1:59 to go that Sacramento had things in control.

Wells scored 23 points and Mike Bibby 21 to pace Sacramento.

Seattle got 26 points from Ray Allen and 20 each from Rashard Lewis and Nick Collison.
