NHL: Los Angeles 2, Calgary 1 (SO)

LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- The Kings marked Luc Robitaille's final game of his career with a 2-1 shootout win over the Flames at the Staples Center Saturday night.

Pavol Demitra scored the only shootout goal as the Kings ended their season by breaking a four-game losing streak.

Robitaille played 19 seasons in the NHL, 14 with the Kings scattered over three stretches.

Jason LaBarbera blocked 39 shots for Los Angeles.

Miikka Kiprusoff made 24 saves and Jamie Lundmark scored for Calgary, who has secured the third playoff spot in the Western Conference and the Northwest Division title.
