MLB: Chi. White Sox 4, Toronto 2

CHICAGO, April 15 (UPI) -- Paul Konerko hit two homers and drove in four runs Saturday as the Chicago White Sox beat Toronto, 4-2.

Konerko was the only Chicago player with more than one of his team's seven hits.

Winning pitcher Mark Buehrle (2-0) gave up only two runs and five hits in eight innings with two walks and four strikeouts. Closer Bobby Jenks tossed a scoreless ninth to earn his fourth save as Chicago won for fifth time in its last six games.

Vernon Wells went 3-for-4 and Alex Rios hit a two-run homer for the Blue Jays. Loser A.J. Burnett (0-1), making his first start for Toronto after coming over from Florida in the off-season, went six innings, yielding four runs and seven hits with one walk and five strikeouts.

Both teams are 6-5.
