NBA: Houston 115, Seattle 87

HOUSTON, March 29 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 29 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday night to lead the Houston Rockets to a 115-87 rout of Seattle.

Stromile Swift added 16 points, five rebounds and two assists; reserve Richie Frahm had 16 points and two rebounds; Luther Head totaled 14 points, five assists, six rebounds and two steals; while Yao also had five assists and three steals for the Rockets (31-40).

Houston has won two of its last three contests.

Earl Watson had 20 points and four assists; Chris Wilcox had 16 points and six rebounds; Mike Wilks had 12 points, two rebounds and two assists; and Damien Wilkins added 11 points, four rebounds and two assists for the Sonics (29-42), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Houston held a 64-32 halftime lead in the contest and cruised home.
