Cowboys give WR Terry Glenn new contract

IRVING, Texas, March 27 (UPI) -- The Dallas Cowboys gave wide receiver Terry Glenn a new five-year contract Monday less than two weeks after they signed Terrell Owens to a three-year deal.

Glenn was scheduled to make $2 million in 2006, but the team gave the former Ohio State star a three-year extension that will pay him $20 million over five years.

"I'm excited about it," said Glenn. "I wanted to be here. I'm ready to make this (Super Bowl) run and get started."

Glenn was the Cowboys' top outside threat in 2005. He caught 62 passes for 1,136 yards and seven touchdowns.

Glenn has 523 receptions for 7,776 yards and 38 touchdowns in 121 games with Dallas, Green Bay and New England.
