SAN ANTONIO, March 25 (UPI) -- Brooke Smith had 35 points Saturday to lead third-seeded Stanford to an 88-74 win over second-seeded Oklahoma in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.
Smith finished the game 14-of-16 from the field, as the Cardinal (26-7) earned a spot in the regional finals against LSU on Monday.

Courtney Paris led Oklahoma (31-5) with 26 points. She also had 16 rebounds and set an NCAA record for rebounds in a season with 535.
Stanford opened the game with a 19-4 run and took a 43-32 lead into the break. Oklahoma cut the Stanford lead to six points with just under eight minutes to play in the second half.
