EDMONTON, Alberta, March 19 (UPI) -- Detroit's Henrik Zetterberg had a goal in regulation and one in the shootout to lift the Red Wings to a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers Saturday night.
Zetterberg also had an assist while Chris Chelios and Tomas Holmstrom both had goals for the Red Wings, who posted their fifth consecutive win. Goaltender Manny Legace made 25 saves before the shootout and blanked both Edmonton skaters he faced in the deciding segment.
For Edmonton, Fernando Pisani logged a goal and an assist, and Shawn Horcroff notched a pair of assists. Jarret Stoll and Steve Staios scored the other two goals. Goaltender Dwayne Roloson finished with 24 saves.
